ABOUT US

Here at Low Daily we have three foundational goals:

  1. Produce beer of the highest caliber that will make Burlington a destination for any craft beer drinker

  2. Create an atmosphere in the taproom that is unlike anything else in the area.  One that is energetic, collaborative, inclusive, and conducive to creativity in any form

  3. Harness the energy produced in the taproom and project it back out into the community via volunteerism, new business offshoots, and distinctive fundraising efforts

A MESSAGE FROM THE BREWER

After producing 25 gallons of mediocre homebrew, I wanted to turn pro, so Claire and I moved to San Diego in 2015 so I could attend the UCSD Brewing program. I got a job working on the bottling line at Karl Strauss Brewing Company and just a few months later, I became Assistant Brewer.  It was during this time that Karl Strauss won the Great American Beer Festival’s Mid-Sized Brewing Company of the Year. Shortly after I was promoted to Brewer, Claire and I decided to move to the Pacific Northwest.

I became a Brewer at Ecliptic Brewing in Portland, where I had the absolute privilege to work for John Harris, a legend in the craft beer industry.  It was during this time that I gained the confidence to run my own spot, so we started developing the concept for Low Daily.

Low Daily found a home at 700 N Pine St, a historic building in my hometown that was originally an electric railway terminal almost 100 years ago. The brewery and taproom space are a special place in this evolving community.

In my young brewing career I have already been fortunate enough to create collaboration beers with breweries such as Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn, Firestone Walker, Modern Times, Reuben’s Brews, and Melvin.  The collaborative nature of this industry is, for me, it’s greatest strength and I want to take this principle and expand its purview and see how much we can accomplish for the community when we work together.

Let’s make Burlington the coolest town in the midwest.
